Next week we will start a lesson using Dash, and the students will learn how to code Dash using Blockly, a visual drag-and-drop programming tool developed by Google that allows children to snap together commands like puzzle pieces.
Thursday, February 28th we will celebrate Read Across America Day/Dr. Seuss' Birthday. Students and staff will dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss Character and we will read our favorite Dr. Seuss books in the Media Center!
Thursday, February 28th is also a Digital Citizenship Parent Meeting from 4:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. in the Dolvin Media Center, followed by the 1st Grade Musical. I will present information from GOennounce “Where Students Start Their Positive Digital Footprint.”
February is African-American History Month and we have many books on display in the Media Center for students to check out.
