We have been reading GA Picture Book Award Nominees in the Media Center and voted for our favorites! The book, "We Don't Eat Our Classmates" received the most votes followed by "When A Wolf is Hungry." 4th and 5th Grade Students have been constructing Cubelet Robots in the Media Center. K-3rd Grade Students will be next! K-2nd Grade Students are creating Bio Hearts for Black History Month. They are using PebbleGo to research a Famous African American and are reading or listening to the information about a person they are interested in and adding biographical information to their Bio Heart. They are doing a great job! 3rd Grade Students have been participating in Read to the Final Four and have advanced to the Round of 68! Congratulations and keep reading! We are participating in a book and pajama drive for the Pajama Program! Please consider donating new pajamas and new hardback books for this great cause! Thanks Kids Care for helping! We chose this week because Dr. Seuss's Birthday and Read Across America Day is on March 2nd. Please help your student be 100% Accountable and have them check their backpack, rooms, bookshelves, etc. for any overdue books!
