We are off to a great start in the Media Center. The schedule worked out that we will see classes every other week, alternating with the Discovery Lab! Look for kindergarten and 1st grade students to come home with a license to check out books and a book. All students can keep their books for 2 weeks. Kindergarten students check out 1 book, 1st and 2nd & 3rd grade students can check out 2 books and 4th and 5th grade students can check out 3 books. 1st-5th grade students can visit the Media Center with a pass. The Media Center is in need of some volunteers to help on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If you would like to volunteer in the Media Center, please contact Mrs. Thomas!
The Dolvin NewsSplash also began this week with students from the Tech Team assisting for the first couple of weeks. A permission form will be coming home for 5th grade students who want to participate in the Morning News.
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming very soon! Classes will begin previewing the book fair Tuesday, September 5th-Friday, September 8th. The book fair will open Friday, September 8th during the K-2 Ice Cream Social from 4:30-6:00 pm.
