Enjoy our November Choice Board!
We have completed our Digital Citizenship Lessons and are ready to read the GA Picture Book Award Nominees! K-2nd Grade students will read the books and then research something from the book using PebbleGo! 3rd-4th Grade students will read at least 10 of the 20 books and will record their reading in Beanstack and pick a favorite book to create a Flipgrid Video about! All students will vote for their favorite book!
Our Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl Book Club is reading the GA Children's Book Award Nominees and 10 students from our club will participate in the Reading Bowl on January 29th!
Students enjoyed a Makerspace/Novel Engineering Lesson in the Media Center! We read the GA Picture Book Award Nominee, "Brick by Brick" and then built with Keva Planks and Legos! Here is an example of their creativity.

We have been learning about Digital Citizenship in the Media Center and should complete our Digital Citizenship Lessons by the end of October! Students have been learning about Media Balance, their Digital Footprint, how to Be Kind Online, and Internet Safety. Ask your student how to stop online meanness with STOP! All of our lessons are from Common Sense Media.
