Welcome back to school! We hope you had a wonderful summer! The Media Center will be back to normal with book checkouts this school year! We will start to checkout books after your class has been to the Media Center and checked out books. 1st-5th grade students will be able to come to the Media Center and checkout books before and during school after your teacher has been given Media Center passes. What is the amount of books that students are able to check out? Kindergarten students:1 book. 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students: 2 books. 4th and 5th grade students: 3 books. Remember that there is a 2 week checkout and if you damage or lose a book, you should pay the replacement cost. If a student has an overdue book, it needs to be brought back or replaced before another book can be checked out. The Scholastic Book Fair is coming September 7th-17th! The Week of September 7th will be Book Fair Preview Week. This is when students come with their class to look at the Book Fair and fill out a wish list. The Book Fair will be open for purchases on Friday, September 10th during the Ice Cream Social and will stay open during school hours until noon on Friday, September 17th. Click here to see our Book Fair Homepage! Stay tuned for more information! Digital Citizenship Lessons will be taught to all of our students in the Media Center.
