March is National Reading Month, and included in the National Reading Month Celebration is Dr. Seuss’s Birthday on Tuesday, March 2nd, as well as Read Across America Week, March 1st-5th. Please join our school in celebrating reading! On Thursday, March 25th, we will have a school dress up day to celebrate our favorite book characters! We have so many things to celebrate in March! Women's History Month, St. Patrick's Day and National Crayon Day! Click here to see the March Media Center Choice Board to help you celebrate all of these events! The 2021 Technology Competition will be 100% virtual. If you are in 3rd-5th grade and want to compete, you can submit 1 project individually or as a team of 2. Register and submit projects between February 1st-March 7th. Click here for more information. Please make sure library books are getting returned, whether your student is F2F or Virtual. We have a bin outside the Media Center door to drop books in as students enter the building or they can drop off anytime! Virtual students can drop off books anytime in the front of the school. Remember that K-5 Virtual students can place holds on books and pick them up Curbside on Wednesday mornings from 10:30-11:00 at the Buice Road entrance or you can make arrangements for pickup with Mrs. Berkovich by contacting her at [email protected].
